Перед Вами, читатель, настольная книга всех биохимиков и молекулярных биологов. Почти 40 лет назад был опубликован блестящий учебник Альберта Ленинджера «Биохимия» (Biochemistry: The Molecular Basis of Cells Structure and Function by Albert L. Lehninger. New York: Worth Publishers, 1972). На русском языке эта книга издавалась дважды (Ленинджер А. Биохимия, М.: Мир, 1974, 1976). Следуя за развитием науки, автор переработал учебник, который появился под названием «Основы биохимии» (Lehninger A. L. Principles of Biochemistry. Worth Publishers, New York, 1982). Книга выдержала несколько переизданий на английском языке, а также переводов на основные «научные» языки мира. У нас в стране этот учебник вышел в трех томах (Ленинджер А. Основы биохимии. В 3 т. — М.: Мир, 1985). Можно без преувеличения сказать, что на этой книге выросли по крайней мере два поколения исследователей.

Теория потенциала
Теория субгармонических функций и теория потенциала на современном этапе развития настолько переплелись, что их часто отождествляют. Однако до установления связи субгармонических функций с потенциалами борелевских мер (Рисс, 1926) эти две теории развивались параллельно: Субгармонические функциия как часть теории функций, а теория потенциала в связи с задачей Дирихле для эллиптических уравнений в математической физике.
